Originally from New Zealand, Dene has been running a successful private practice in Dun Laoghaire since qualifying in Neuromuscular Therapy and Orthopaedic Sports Massage. He constantly updates his skills by doing workshops, seminars and further courses.
- Every year since 2004 Dene has worked over the bank holiday weekend on athletes participating in the Dublin City marathon.
- Working with Lansdowne Rugby club 2004-2009, Dene attended training sessions and match days. As part of a back ground team, he treated injuries from when they happened, through rehabilitation, to complete recovery. On match days Dene provided pre-event massage.
